How a custom game helped kids learn DNA

A science museum set out to spark curiosity in young minds through technology, and partnered with to build an interactive educational experience that turns passive learning into play. The result was a fully custom DNA game, “Building Life,” that delighted kids and visitors on launch.

The need for a hands-on approach

The museum wanted to turn its exhibits into a hands-on, tech-driven adventure — a genetic learning game that could explain complex science in a playful, accessible format. Partnering with us let them take the leap into interactive educational software that excited kids and left their minds buzzing.

Building the experience with Unity

The game was built in Unity to run on compact Windows mini-PCs, housed in custom touchscreen kiosks.
